Yesterday Facebook announced a family of Android-based smartphone apps which is to be called Facebook Home. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced ”We’re going to talk about how you can transform your Android phone into a great social phone” Facebook Home will be available on April 12 on certain phones which run the Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean versions of the Android operating system. The apps will be extended to tablets later in the year.
